It’s Christmas party week! My family had our first holiday parties this weekend. Of course, one of my favorite parts of this festive season is all the amazing food. The steak and mashed potatoes, the fancy cocktails, the Christmas cookies… this is the stuff that makes the holiday season so fun! But amidst all the delicious, indulgent food, it’s great to have some lighter options.
This Christmas fruit tray is a beautiful edible arrangement shaped like a holiday wreath – perfect for your next holiday party. Use your favorite red and green fresh fruit, and serve it with a simple Greek yogurt dipping sauce, for a healthy addition to your table that showcases the colors of the season.

Ingredients
For this simple fruit tray, you will need the following ingredients (exact measurements are in the recipe card below).
For the fruit wreath:
- Green grapes
- Red or green apples
- Kiwi fruit
- Pomegranate airils
- Strawberries
- Rosemary sprigs, for garnish
- Optional: If you have a favorite fruit that isn’t red or green, put it at the bottom of your wreath! I used mango for my bottom layer.
For the dipping sauce:
- Greek yogurt: I used plain 2% Greek yogurt
- Maple syrup: You could substitute honey, or try my peanut butter Greek yogurt dip recipe.
Make it your own!
You can use any variety of fruit in this wreath. If you want to stick to red and green fruit, some other fruits you could add are:
- Red grapes
- Red raspberries
- Honeydew melon
- Blood oranges
- Pear
- Watermelon
- Cherries
Instructions
Step One: Wash and cut up all your fruit. Choose a round platter to build your wreath on. I used a large round shallow bowl, and put a small bowl in the center to hold my yogurt dip.
Step Two: Arrange the fruit in layers on your platter in the shape of a wreath. Use sturdier, bigger fruit at the base of the wreath. If there is any fruit that you don’t want to show (like my mango), add that to the bottom. Put more delicate, smaller pieces of fruit (like the pomegranate airils) at the top of the wreath. I tucked thin apple slices around the outside of the wreath as a border.

Step Three: Add rosemary sprigs around the edges of your bowl to garnish the wreath. Stir the Greek yogurt and maple syrup together, and add the sauce to the small bowl in the middle of your wreath. Enjoy!
